LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Introduction to the eight stages of a road safety audit/inspection; identify the project, select a team, conduct a pre-audit/inspection team meeting, perform field review or drawing observations, conduct an audit/inspection analysis and prepare the report of the findings, present audit/inspection findings to Project Owner/Design Team, Project Owner/Design Team prepares a formal response and incorporation of findings into project when appropriate. A series of countermeasures will be discussed based on findings from actual road safety audits and inspections.
